Almax belongs to a group of medicines called antacids, which are compounds that act by neutralizing excess stomach acid.
It is indicated for the relief and symptomatic treatment of heartburn and acidity in adults and children over 12 years of age.
You should consult a doctor if it gets worse or does not improve after 14 days.
POSOLOGY:
- Adults: 1 g/8 h. If necessary, an additional dose may be administered at bedtime. Minimum dose 8 g/24 h.
- Children and adolescents < 18 years:
Teenagers from 12 years old: same as adults.
Children < 12 years: not recommended.
- Elderly: no dosage adjustment required.
Avoid prolonged treatments or high doses.
Duration of treatment: avoid treatments longer than 14 days without medical advice.
